A ship in harbour is safe - but that is not what ships are built for.
Your conscious mind is the captain (what you think) of your ship and your subconscious mind is your crew (what you feel).
Everyday your captain feeds messages to your crew, some may be good and some may be bad. Either way your crew listens, reacts and responds to everything the captain commands. If the captain screams ‘danger!’ the crew will automatically respond to protect the ship... using the skills they’ve been trained to use.
Unskilled captains tend to train their crew to respond and react to unnecessary danger or sometimes danger that is not there at all.
This often keeps your ship at harbour and gets in the way of doing all the things you are capable of doing.
So if your captain controls your thoughts and your crew responds with feelings. We need to intentionally build a skilled captain to listen to, lead and teach the our crew.
